Are you a participant?
Frequently asked questions
Is 5S a software company or an event organizer?
Both. 5S SaaS, 5Ticket, 5PIX and 5Sport Result are software we build ourselves. The 5Sport operations team runs races end to end or takes on individual services. Use only the software, or hire the whole team.
Can I use just one part, say only ticketing or only photos?
Yes. Every product works on its own. Use several and the data connects by bib number, with no files to pass back and forth.
Do participants need several accounts?
No. One 5S account works on every organizer’s website and on the 5Ticket marketplace.
Whose account does ticket money go to?
It depends on the channel. On your website, if you use your own payment gateway, money goes straight to your account and we never hold it. On the 5Ticket marketplace, 5S collects on your behalf, then reconciles and pays you out under the contract.
Does selling tickets on our own website need any paperwork?
Yes. In Vietnam, a website that sells tickets is an e-commerce website and must be registered with the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Many organizers only find out after sales have opened. We guide you through the paperwork step by step.
Who owns participant data?
You do. Export the full list to a file at any time, including after you stop using the service.
How long does it take to get started?
A race is fully set up within a few working days, including pointing your domain. For your first race, the 5S team works alongside you.
Does 5S also build software for mines and ports?
Yes. 5Gate reads number plates, controls barriers and prints delivery slips at the gates of mines, ports, construction sites and factories, running on the site’s own network. It has its own page and its own survey form, separate from the sports side.
